Workplace radiation protection testing

1、Legal basis

According to the "Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Occupational Diseases", "Regulations on Management of Occupational Health in the Workplace" and other relevant legal norms, employers need to commission qualified occupational health service organizations to conduct regular testing of the radiological workplace.

2、Testing purposes

(1) to understand whether the level of protection in the radiation workplace meets the requirements of the relevant standards.

(2) timely detection of problems, prevention and avoidance of radiation accidents or occupational disease risks.

(3) to provide regulatory basis for the audit and control departments.

3、Testing cycle

Units with serious occupational disease hazards should be entrusted with the appropriate qualification of occupational health technical service institutions, at least once a year for regular testing of occupational disease hazards
