Certification Introduction

China Compulsory Certification, the English name China Compulsory Certification, referred to as CCC certification or 3C certification. Implementation and supervision by the China Certification and Accreditation Commission CNCA, which is authorized to recognize the 15 licensing bodies and 152 laboratories to carry out specific provisions since August 1, 2002 to accept the first batch of applications for certification of 132 products in 19 categories included in the mandatory product catalog, the directory of these products must be certified by CCC and affixed with the CCC mark to be sold in the market.

2014 Regulatory Updates.

CQC certification

Certification Introduction

CQC is the abbreviation of China Quality Certification Center. Unlike the CCC mark, the CQC mark is a voluntary product certification, also issued by the China Quality Certification Center CQC certificate, CQC certification is to apply the CQC mark to indicate that the product meets the relevant quality, safety, performance, electromagnetic compatibility and other certification requirements, the scope of certification involves machinery and equipment, electrical equipment, electrical appliances, electronic products, textiles, building materials and other 500 kinds of products. CQC mark certification focuses on safety, electromagnetic compatibility, performance, harmful substances limit (RoHS) and other indicators that directly reflect product quality and affect the safety of consumers' personal and property, aiming to protect the interests of consumers, promote the improvement of product quality and enhance the international competitiveness of domestic enterprises.

The CQC mark and CCC mark application process is the same, also through the network online and written two ways (mainly online network) to apply for the CQC voluntary product range of 160 categories. Products that are not in the CCC scope can apply for the CQC mark, which helps to smoothly clear customs and enter the Chinese market, helping enterprises to improve product quality, become a well-known brand, and increase the competitiveness of products in the Chinese market.

Energy Label

Certification Introduction

In order to strengthen the management of energy conservation, promote the progress of energy-saving technology and improve energy efficiency, the National Development and Reform Commission and the State General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine have formulated the Measures for the Administration of Energy Efficiency Labeling, which has come into effect since March 1, 2005.

China Energy Efficiency Label is a colorful label with blue and white background, divided into 5 levels: Level 1 indicates that the product has reached the international advanced level and is the most energy-efficient, i.e. the lowest energy consumption; Level 2 indicates that it is relatively energy-efficient; Level 3 indicates that the energy efficiency of the product is the average level in China's market; Level 4 indicates that the energy efficiency of the product is lower than the average level in the market; Level 5 is the market access indicator, and products below this level are not allowed to be produced or sold. The products with lower requirements are not allowed to be produced and sold.

Product range

A total of 11 batches of product lists have been released, including household refrigerators, room air conditioners, household electric washing machines, self-ballasted fluorescent lamps, storage water heaters, household induction cookers, computer monitors, copiers, automatic rice cookers, AC fans, flat-panel TVs, digital TV receivers and so on.

Application process

1. Product testing: Watt conducts tests and issues energy efficiency test reports. The original report should be submitted to the Energy Efficiency Labeling Management Center for review and record.

2. Online registration to fill in the record information. Add the information related to product filing, mainly the information marked by the energy efficiency label.

3. Make energy-efficiency labels. The industry should make energy efficiency labels according to the requirements of the corresponding product implementation rules.

4. Submit the required text materials for the record. After receiving the written filing materials, the Energy Efficiency Labeling Management Center will generally provide feedback or rectification within 10 working days. After the completion of the record will be publicized in the China Energy Efficiency Labeling Network, relevant information can be inquired by filing number, producer name or model.

China SRRC Certification

Certification Introduction

Since June 1, 1999, the Ministry of Information Industry (MII) of China has mandated that all radio component products sold and used in China must obtain Radio Type Approval Certification (RCA).

According to the "Regulations on the Import of Radio Transmitting Equipment" and "Regulations on the Production of Radio Transmitting Equipment", in order to strengthen the management of the import and production of radio transmitting equipment, all radio transmitting equipment exported to the People's Republic of China or produced (including trial production) in the People's Republic of China must have the approval of the State Radio Regulation Committee (State　Radio Regulation Committee (SRRC) for its emission characteristics after the type approval issued by the "radio transmitting equipment type approval certificate".

Product Scope

Radio transmitting equipment is defined as radio communication, navigation, positioning, direction finding, radar, remote control, telemetry, radio, television and micro-power (short range) and other types of equipment that emit radio waves, but does not include industrial, scientific research, medical equipment, electrified transportation systems, high-voltage power lines and other electrical devices that radiate electromagnetic waves. Application process

1.Customer prepare sample and information

4. Waltek sends the sample to a radio monitoring center with testing capability and issues a test report

5. The test report is submitted to the provincial radio management committee and the SRRC certificate is issued.

SRRC does not have a specific certification mark, but must be typed on the certificate number (CMIIT ID), as described below.

China MII network access license

Certification Introduction

On May 10, 2001, the Ministry of Information Industry of the People's Republic of China issued Decree No. 11 "Telecommunications Equipment Network Access Management Measures", which makes clear provisions on issues related to network access license, the state implements a network access license system for telecommunications terminal equipment, radio communication equipment and equipment involved in inter-network interconnection, which must meet the national standards and obtain the network access license issued by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology (MIIT) License (NAL).

Telecommunications equipment manufacturers should be in its production of telecommunications equipment to obtain the network license to paste the network license mark. Network access license certificate contains the certificate number, application unit, manufacturer, equipment name, equipment model, origin, remarks, certificate issuance date, certificate expiration date.
